SALUT! (:
haha and yes thats hello in french(: im so glad at least i dint forget that:D heh. school is getting more tiring now. mm.homework is getting loaded.
oh yes anw today was a pretty hair-standing day:D in a way. ms tan was telling us about her trip to cambodia during the hols! totally cool. but pretty eerie cuz she visited one of the 300 over killing fieds and one of the 100 over prisons. like woah. and it was kinda disgusting cuz the blood stains and all were still there (the place wasn't exactly cleaned). yea and whats worse, ms tan saw a tourist pick up one of the bones and put it into his backpack! so terrible. EEE. yea. and she told us how terrible life was, in Cambodia. like its all becasue of some psycho guy who keeps thinking there's a group of ppl who wants to rebel against him and the govt. i dont even know to to spell his name so im not gna try. but yea. he lied to the whole nation(!?) that the vietnamese were gna attack them and got them all evacuated to the countryside. and slowly, he called 80-90 of the citizens back batch by batch and locked them up in the prisons! wth. torture and irk living conditions. little food(worst thing ever) and yea. they actually have doctors to heal them after they're injured. and what for? so they can torture them when they recover again. SERIOUSLY. SICK. yea and at the killing fie d that ms tan went to, they used to smash babies' heads against a tree in the field itself. the blood marks still exist to this day, except the marking is way up the tree since the tree grew(like duh). yea its really heart wrenching. i cant believe it happened. yea and their corpses are all just dumped in a hole that they dug in the killing field. so ms tan said they felt like they were walking on lumps :S they hvn even finished digging up all the skulls ok. its TERRIBLE. they uncovered over 9000 skulls in that killing field. and there are over 300 fields in Cambodia. ): oh and ms tan told us about 3 million people were killed in the 4 years that the psycho guy was in control. THATS LIKE THE POPULATION IN SINGAPORE, CAN YOU IMAGINE?!!!
agh. its so eerie. oh then in english lesson, mrs westvik told us about her friend sheila who died of spinal cancer, i think, last year. told us how sheila was such a nice person and funny too( her underwear dropping in the middle of the road and she simply stepped out and left it on the road:D) well of course, the underwear incident happened AGES ago. so yea. tribute to sheila.
THEN. we had a talk about world war 2 during assembly. the prisoners of war, civillian internees, lots of brave heroes and heroines who survived the war. terrible. its unbelievable how inhuman people can behave. but it sadly does exist. yep and we shall be going to kranji war memorial on 26th jan. so pardon me if my next few posts sound depressing or 'war'-ish:\ tsk. ok i still have so many things to say actually. but i feel like im very naggy:\ so i shall stop. hahah!
LOVES.
